
Jamie Swenson, LCSW
Jamie believes treating trauma at its core is the foundation for inner work. She uses the power of creative arts and evidence based practices to process through childhood related trauma. She has training and experience working with teens and adults through evidence based practices including CBT, EMDR, creative art expression and solution-focused therapies. She is currently licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin.​ Jamie specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, depression and parent-child relationships. She is located in our Janesville office.

David Cyprus, APSW

David's background included offering supports to a diverse range of clients in a wide range of environments -- private agencies, in-home settings, and several large hospitals including the VA. He has a special interest in helping clients work through grief, trauma, and life challenges that may have led to feelings of stuck-ness, anxiety, and-or depression. Some of the specific approaches David is practices include mindfulness-based modalities, Somatic Experiencing, Solution Focus Therapy, Mentalizing, Internal Family Systems, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. David offers solely virtual options for scheduling.

Megan Meskan, LCSW

Megan's professional journey includes a Masters internship with the VA in the PTSD clinic, offering her valuable insights into the complexities of mental health. With over four years of dedicated service in the Jefferson County Community Support program, Megan has honed her skills in psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, BA, ACT, EIMR, and mindfulness. She has worked with individuals aged 12 and up, addressing a spectrum of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, personality disorders, and schizophrenia, among others. She is located in our Janesville office.

Brielle Keyes, LCSW
Brielle's clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults in the outpatient setting. Brielle practices from a holistic point of view looking at each individual’s unique needs and goals for counseling. Her specialties include working with individuals with anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma and those within the LGBTQ+ community. She recently completed training in Perinatal Mental Health. She completed a certificate course to support those experiencing pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal mood disorders and parenting. Additionally, she is a Brainspotting practitioner trained in phases 1 and 2. Brielle is licensed in both Wisconsin and Illinois and provides services virtually and in person at the East Troy location.

Allison Voss, APSW
Allison has worked with populations of all ages, though found herself looking for ways to work with more children and adolescents. She was eager to continue her education in the field, and pursued graduate school, graduating with a Master’s of Social Work degree. Upon graduation, Allison gained experience working as a clinician at a residential treatment center serving adolescents. She was responsible for individual, group, and family therapy sessions, along with responding to crisis situations. Working with the youths at the facility was a privilege, and she feels grateful to have been able to engage the youths in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Allison has experience working with youths with a variety of diagnoses including ADHD, depression, anxiety, DMDD, and ODD. She is a strong and caring advocate for children and adolescents, and is a dedicated professional no matter what population she is serving. She is located in our Janesville office.

Shannon Stearns, LPC-IT
Shannon's counseling approach integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives, allowing her to adapt support to each child or adolescent’s unique needs. She is especially passionate about helping young people navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, school pressures, and life transitions. Having lived with Crohn’s disease since childhood, she also brings a personal understanding of the resilience and emotional strength it can take to manage ongoing challenges.
Outside of counseling, she recently got married and loves spending time with her husband and their playful eight-month-old Great Dane puppy. Shannon aims to bring the same patience, warmth, and compassion from her personal life into the counseling space, creating an environment where kids and teens feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.

Sabrina Diaz-Barnett, APSW
Sabrina is a couples therapist that specializes in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, sex & intimacy relational healing and grief and loss. She works with individuals and couples through the use of motivational interviewing, incorporating art beauty and self care, and spiritual healing. She is resourceful and advocates strongly for clients needing additional supports. Sabrina works with individuals 12 and older, creating a space for warmth and open communication.

Couples interested in working with Sabrina should know that at this time, we do not bill insurance for couples-counseling but offer a self pay rate instead. This helps eliminate the barrier of having to attach a medical diagnoses to one individual in order to bill for a couples session.
